Tire pressure reset?

Tire pressure light started flashing this morning. I searched the forum, did what it said, checked all tire pressures, including spare (which was low) put them all to 32 #. Found the reset button. Pressing it does nothing to stop the light. The Toyota dealer told me over the phone that just getting the pressures correct would reset the light by itself. Didn't happen.
Drove the car around the block a few times. Turned it off and on several times. Still got a light.

Can anybody help me here, or is this a trip to the dealer?
Thanks,

It finally reset itself this morning. Reset button never had any effect.

Tire pressure light came on again this morning. Went to Toyota store. They told me they put the tires pressures right, and the light went off. One hour and 50 miles later, it came on again. This is SOOO frustrating. What am I suppose to do? No flats anywhere.

Air Pressure

I'm not sure about the Touring, but the XL, XLS, and Limited have a tire pressure of 29 set by Toyota. Look on the inside of the drivers side door. It will have the correct tire pressure listed on the plate.

The tire pressure reset switch you mentioned using is not to reset the light but rather retrain the system to a new air pressure. Since you filled the tires to 32 lbs and then reset the system your tpms is now set at 32 vs the factory 29 lbs. It's my assumption that when you took the vehicle into the dealer they adjusted your tire pressure back to 29 which could be triggering the tpms warning light to go back on...I hope this helps.

The dealer finally figured out that I had a bad sensor, replaced it, and I have no problems since.
Thanks,
Bill
