New Owner Couple Q's

Hey all, new owner. Just bought an 07 limited w/ radar cruise from a dealer in texas. They are shipping it up to me here in IL next week. Coming off a very unpleasant experience over the past 3 years with a Hyundai Azera, so I'm looking forward to something else when it gets here.

The dealer wasn't a Toyota dealer and couldn't really answer my questions pre-sale, but the items in question weren't really deal breakers.

Can someone tell me definitively if the 07 limited has oem hid lights? It has ventilated seats, nav, rear sunshade, radar cruise, push button start,etc.

Also, there is a backup cam installed in it. I am assuming this is some sort of dealer installed or aftermarket system. The display is in the mirror and the cam lens is in the bumper by the license plate. There's a parrot bluetooth 3200ls kit in it too.

Also, if I am correct in weeding thru the info, the 07 does not play mp3 cd's, but I can add an ipod adapter?

Yes, the '07 Limited has HID headlamps - and they're self-leveling.

The backup cam was not available as a factory option. No doubt a dealer install or from a previous owner.

I seem to recall that the '07 will play MP3 CDs (somebody correct me if I'm wrong!) and you can indeed install an iPod adapter. There are several available that plug into the back of the headunit and will display on the nav screen and allow the use of the steering wheel thumb controls.

Cool, thanks for the info. I sure hope so. Hopefully it doesnt have the shift hesitation. I have the service records and the TSB pertaining to that hasnt been done yet. If so, I'll be heading over to the local toyota dealer with TSB in hand. Just ordered the all metal VVTI line too. I'd rather not have the engine pee all its oil out.
