Clock & DST with Nav

Anyone have the formula for setting the clock on the '09 Navigation system. I finally gave up and did it manually as I could not get the "Auto Adjust" or the Daylight Savings time to reflect the correct time. It says that it's supposed to get it from GPS signal but it's not working for me.

You need a good gps signal to have auto adjust work. It'll set the time properly but wont necessarily reflect dst. If you've gone into the setup and set your time zone gps should have the time correct. All I did was go into adjust clock and tell it dst off, and it dropped it by an hour to reflect the correct time. This was an 07 though. 08-on is a new system, but i imagine it'd be similar.

Clock Adjust

Thanks for the reply. I have tried that and it immediately changed the time (incorrectly) by an hour. The manual is useless. Not a very intuitive system. Guess I'll just resign myself to a manual adjust.
