Hello Oil (VVT-I Line Burst)

Alright, going to get pies for thanksgiving this morning when all of a sudden the Navigation system says "Check air conditioner" At this point I was thinking the AC went out... whatever. Switched the car to outside air cause it was getting hot inside the car, and i get a crazy bad oil smell.. I thought it was the car in front of me so I continued. By the time I got to the next light... the smell was still there. At this point I knew something was up so as I pulled into the parking spot, a cloud of smoke went in the car and I immediately opened the hood to find this:

Thank god for Certified warranty.

Also, the engine appears to be fine.... we will know more tomorrow.

just had oil line recall service done took about an hour at dealer....

Had the recall service done on mine a couple weeks ago. I have 97k miles on my 06 avy. I guess now we all have to go back for the gas pedal recall
