K&N Air Filter

Does anyone know the trick of getting a K&N Air Filter into an '08 Avalon?

It's a mistake. It will let more dirt in and the computer will compensate for the greater air flow. It's a marketing gimmick that will result in more dirt allowed into the engine and greater wear. Have an oil analysis done and you'll see I'm right.

While I'll agree that the K&N will not provide you any added horsepower (I've dyno'ed dozens of trucks and cars, with and without), they will save you money by not having to replace air filters.

Just don't over oil it and you'll be okay.

I decided I didn't like the filter and pulled it out after a couple of days and put in a Toyota filter.
