Does anyone have new 2011 Avalon Pictures? - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Toyota is keeping this thing under wraps big time! I work for Toyota and I can't seem to get my hands on any pictures of the new Avalon! I know they are definitely coming out with a redesign (contrary to many of the current rumors), but I am dying to see it! if anyone has pictures, please post them/a link to them!!

Hey BL,

The only pics I have seen are online and mostly interior shots. Which makes sense since it is going to be a minor exterior/major interior change. The pics I have seen are similiar to the new sienna or venza interior designs. The swooping wood grain style. Can't wait for March to get here.

EDIT: Just checked my bookmark and they have been removed. 404 error...

I have to agree. Still looks like the same car for the most part. Better looking dash and media area. Projector headlights finally, and looks like LED tails. Some different rear and front body lines.

Me too, considering how long they have had to fully redesign this car, not give it some half-assed face lift.

I mean, come on Toyota, this car is going on 6MYs old and all you do is slap Camry headlights and a 2011 Sienna grille on it and call it a day.

Matter of fact - this Friday, while the Avalon is getting serviced, and the gas pedal squared away, and hopefully getting the fan removed from my driver's seat (that really hurts by the way), I think I'll go across the street and visit with the VW dealer and talk about the 2010 VW CC. It might just be time to trade.

I was really looking to trade in this year but the 2011 is a Disappointment .....

wouldnt it be possible that tomoco simply wants to send most designs under review, while also implementing a cost saving face-lift to keep the model fresh at the same time?

Well, in light of all this, the FT-86 is coming to the U.S.

BUTTTTTTTT. According to an FT86club.com , They've switched the design team to ED2, or is it Calty? IDK, but they also said it might be a bit different than the one we all know and love. The Subie version will reportedly not vary as much from the Toyo as we earlier thought.

Well, anyways, back to the grief and sorrow...
