FYI-aftermarket keys.
I purchased an aftermarket key on ebay a few months ago, and had my local dealer cut it and program it. Worked fine unitil today. I pulled it out of my pocket, and it had broken apart from the plastic remote end. Cheap crap. Found my oringinal Toyota key, and I could feel the difference in the quality. Don't fall for cheap copies. Spend the few extra bucks and get a Toyota key made. My Avalon is useless without a key that works.
