Also, is there an auxiliary input on this radio?

Pretty common but it shouldn't do it continually. It has to do with the converter/receive box getting hot (I think), and mine is in the trunk in the Avalon. I have 3 different cars with three different head units that all were Sat ready. All that Sat ready means is that they have a button on the interface (tuner) and a pig tail to plug the converter box input into. I have only had to unplug it one time in 4 years on my Avalon. On my Vette it was space limited so it was installed up on the steering column underneath the dash and behind the instrument bezel. I watched them install it and it gets hot (tight space) easier I think as I have probably had to unplug 3 or 4 times in the last 3 years...it has to be hard power downed. Unplugging it equals a hard reset if that makes sense. I would suggest having them put yours in the trunk next time and see if it fixes it. I know the stereo shop that did the one in my Vette told me it happens often. The box in my Avalon was done at the dealership and it is the same type of box that the Stereo shop used with my Vette just model (deck) specific.
Never had an issue with my other Sat box in my other car and it is being used with an XM (older) model deck...before Serius ever came out.
