Tirerack has brembo blanks, and some other brand of slotted rotors, plus higher performance pads avail.

I know a caliper upgrade would surely do it but would JUST the rotors and nice pads do enough.noticeable?

I dont think anyone even makes a "big brake" kit for the avalon. I had a Baer Racing big brake kit on my RX7, it was 2500 for the system. Not cheap. Getting larger rotors and calipers is no small or cheap task.

No i under stand the costs.I was wondering IF I put ONLY slotted and groved rotors and some nice pads would there be a noticeable difference or is it more of a better brake feel rather then better brakeing power?

Better pads can improve it. The slotted rotors are more for decoration than anything. Theres lots of crap floating around on the internet that say do/dont help. Everyone has an opinion on the subject. If you're putting big rims on, the nicer slotted rotors are often zinc coated so they dont rust up.

Try www.nopi.com, they have pads, rotors, and big brake kits. I didnt think anyone even made a big brake kit for the avalon, but they've got some. 1800-2500 for a kit. Pads and Rotors are more reasonable.
