I dunno. The Avalon doesn't really have any real crisp lines that would accommodate pin striping. I just don't see it. But, as usual, that's just my opinion (which you asked for).
Actually I have a Blizzard Pearl Avalon on the way. I was thinking of 2 thin crimson red stripes the lenth of the body just above the door handle. Or???? The car is coming with body moldings. So perhaps a small one the lenth of the molding. Just thinking.....
Well, no one seems to like my idea of pinstriping my Avalon. Even my girlfriend isn't sure. I look at it this way. I can always take them off, and it cost's less than a hundred. But...I AM going to do it. Every new car I've owned has had some kid of stripes. I guess I'm showing my age here, but I will try to post some pic's for all to judge in a week or so.
Mine has some kind of silver/grey color changing pinstripe, dealer applied I assume. It has a little toyota logo on it, and varies from silver to grey depending on the sunlight. Seems to look just fine to me.
