2006 Avalon with P0031 and P2195

check engine light.

A little over 44,000 miles on it and dealer wants $1675.00 plus tax to fix it.

P2195 - Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Signal Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0031 - Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Heater Control Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

New exhust mainfold, new sensor, etc.

dealer won't help with any cost, told me to call the 1-800-331-4331 number, but that's not taken any calls, becuase I guess it's due to the recalls. You can't get any human to answer.

I take my car to that dealer for everything, the cars not even 4 years old and it needs this much work?

I did the oil leak recall, and the 2 other recalls will be done on March 13th.

I don't know why this isn't covered under the emmissions warranty.

and, the TSB came out in June 2008, but the service manager didn't mention anything to me concerning it. TSB T-SB-0114-08.

why he wouldn't mention that when I take my car there for everything I don't know.

any ideas on what I can do? Phone numbers etc?

Thanks

Go back to page 3 on this forum and look for a message thread titled "What a crock of sh*t - TSB exhaust manifold".

It covers what appears to be this same topic, in detail.
