Fog Lights

I was wondering if anyone has changed there fog light bulbs from the stock yellowish color ones to a bluish white HID type blue.I know some people say not to do it cause the different light doesn't work as well for foggy conditions etc i understand what SOME people SAY but i just wanna know if its a noticeable white blue color..Also how do I get to the bulb to change it.

yep, did that as soon as I got my 2006 back in 2006.

changed them to super white which is really a blue.

changed all 6 lights...high/low beam and fog.

there is a skirt under the front. a plastic cover'
you have to take that off.

has those plastic 'pincher' 'tabs'.

be careful taken them out, because they break easy.

once that skirt or protective cover under the front off, u can get to the fogs.

took me about an hour to do all six.

btw, have to replace the low beam tomorrow.

when using those 'extra white' or blue lights, they don't last that long.
usually about a year or so.

I have an old HID kit from my last car, I was thinking about putting it in the fog light position since I already have OEM HID for the low beams.

I had some Silverstars from an older car laying around so I tossed them in my 2007. It looks pretty good I have to say..much better than the OEM's. You don't need to remove the whole undertray, just the 4 screws on each side closest to the foglight. Takes about 10 minutes.
