Looking for Soft Trunk kit

I always have to slam the trunk of my 2010 Avalon Limited for it to shut. I would like to add a soft trunk system like the ones you get on BMWs. Has anyone seen or installed one of these before? Alternatively, I think I'll be trying to find the self locking mechanism that comes on the Lexus RX 350s. It would be cool to just push the button on the trunk and have the thing close itself.

The trunk just needs more weight. It feels flimsy. I too have to slam it, some times a couple times to get it to stay shut.

The only way to power close it I know of would be to rig up some kind of linear actuator. I haven't seen any kits.

Some of the higher-end Buicks and Cadillacs offered that 'soft-close' feature.

I know the Buick Park Avenues from the late 80's had that. Perhaps you could hit a junk yard and see if you can come up with something?
