Need help running cable from trunk to middle console

I am working on a project that will let me display my Ipod Touch on my 2010 Avalon Navigation screen. I have the software part working but am terrified to breaking or tearing anything on my car in order to get to the middle console.

What's the best way to run a thick video cable from the trunk to the center console (where the AUX port is located)?

Any pics or ideas will be welcomed.

On both sides, grab the bottom front of the rear seat about 8" in from the door sill and pull straight up. The seat will come up and you can set it on its back edge without disconnecting the recliner handles. You will have no problems running the cable from the trunk. Slide the passenger seat all the way forward. You can run the cable under the carpet, up under the console, and then decide how to get it to the jack. If the carpet is not cut out under the console preventing it from being exposed, I usually cheat by putting a slit in the carpet right at the base of the console where the view is blocked by the passenger seat and slide the wire in above the carpet. The seat slides so far forward you can do this unobstructed. Hold the carpet out when you slice to be sure the are no wires to be cut.
