Viper 5901 remote start question?
I just purchased one for the wife for mother's day and wanted to know if I would be losing any functions? It has remote start, window up, and down, etc. Anyone know if there is anything additional I would need to install? I don't want to lose the auto trunk function either.

Don't know about the 5901. But I have the Viper VX791 in my wife's Honda CRV and I have the Clifford Matrix 50.5x in my 08 Avalon Touring.

Both have remote start, 2 way paging function. My installer was able to get the remote trunk function to work on the Clifford.

These alarm are all made by Directed and they are very reliable. Had the Viper VX791 installed in my Tacoma and 4Runner before and never had any problem.
