Glove box light bulb

Arghhh... where is the glove box light bulb and how do I replace it? This is on a 2005 Avalon Limited.

TIA,
Mark

I will check on my dad's avalon once he gets home, but the bulb number is 74 if that helps.

Glove box light bulb

Thanks for the response, pmesfun. I'm really curious as to how to get the bulb out.

Ok, I think the best way to do it is, to get a pair of thin pliers and wrap electrical tape around the two sides, then squezee gently and pull the old bulb out. To put the new bulb in just insert the bulb into the socket with you fingers. Then make sure it is secure.

So is the bulb at the top of the glove box, near the actuator thingy, or on the side?

Thanks.

It is to the right of the release hook, turn on your parking/headlight open the glove box and you should be able to find it.

Thanks for all your help! You answered my question - I didn't realize the light only came on if the parking or headlights were on .
