Windshield cracked
I just changed my rear ignition coils on my 06 and the windshield cracked a few days latter. The crack originated from the bottom of the windshield and traveled upwards. Is it possible that I overtightened any of the bolts that caused the cracking? I also did give the windshield a tap with the wiper linkage during the coil repair.

I would appreciate any insight.

I don't see how giving the windshield a tap would cause it to crack. It could be the crack is a result of a stone strike that happened a long time ago and is only just now (warmer temperatures?) starting to show itself.

Don't fret about it. It's there for whatever reason.
