Changed out my 06 front bumper to a 08

I finally decided to do it. I ended up repainting my car Black Opal (availabe color on the Lexus Hybrids) so I figured this would be the best time. Parts needed: 08 Front bumper cover, 08 foglights + bezels, 08 upper and lower grille (I bought the E&G grille to install), also have to change out the 9006 foglight socket to H11 socket. Here's some pics

interesting...does the front kit lips still fit just like the old bumper or you need to make some adjustment or modification to make it fit?

Oh yeah, had to order new 3 piece front lip kit. It's different on the 08's.

Wow! clean. Is it a straight replacement aside from getting the H11 bulbs? Any mods to bolt on to fit?

The bumper bolted right up using the same hardware from my 06 bumper. I just replaced the foglights on my 06 bumper so if anyone needs some replacement foglights or an E&G grille for the 05-07 avalon I got it.

Shiny, looks good. My last 6 cars were black. This is my first silver one. Though silver is easier to keep clean, I'm probably going back to a black car after this.
