Remote starter stopped working

I have the OEM remote starter. All of a suddent it stopped working. I hit the lock button 3 times like I always did. I get the confirmation tone but it does not do anything after that. Any idea what is going on here and how I can fix it?

Any warning lights or codes? Have the back wheels been going forward?
Have you ever replaced the muffler bearings?

What is the micro switch on the hood latch? Where do I find it?

No no warning lights or error codes that showed up.

What is the blinker fluid?

Ha... muffler bearings and blinker fluid are on going automotive gags.

Does your alarm arm ok? I dont think it will arm if the hood pin isnt working properly.

Theres a whole slew of conditions that much be met for the remote start to function. I'll see if I can find the info.

Exclamation

...and be careful with those remote starters. Just had a 62 year old guy die because his car started (without his knowledge) in his attached garage...town house built over garage...neighbors CO2 monitors kept going off so they called the cops. This happened very near us...sad. If you have an attached or live above your garage and put your car in there, I suggest not having a remote start.

Hey McGyver...
Thanks to the old man dying (OLD?? H3LL, younger than I am!)
They put a new gimmick on those remote starters
- after 5-10 minutes running, they turn the car off again.
... and just when I thought I could finally get rid of the Ex-Wife

Heh, just goes to show you that a missed "-" can change meaning, year-old or year old, the older I get the YOUNGER 62 seems.

But yeah, people put real crappy aftermarket starters on their 30k cars and it ends up killing them with CO2...reason for my warning as I am not sure if people are talking factory or "billy-bob" remote starters but this guy did say OEM...
