Clear Bra, clear plastic paint protectors...

Anyone use the clear bra type clear plastic covers? Do they look OK and hold up well?

I was thinking about a car bra but would rather keep the natural look. I think I'll get one for my 4Runner too.

This is basically what the dealership installs right. That costs $400 for just the front part of the hood.

You might want to take a look at both the General Discussion forum and the Detailing & Car Care forum, both of which have had at least a couple past threads about clear bras. That'll help you get info from an additional pool of Toyota owners.

I've had the clear 3M material applied to a Lexus I drove for 6 years and recently had it applied to an Avalon. It goes back 24" on the hood, covers the headlights, front bumper and front of side view mirrors. If applied correctly, it does a great job of protecting and looks nice. Highly recommend.

either clear 3M or nothing.
I know BLACK Bra, but CLEAR Bra? I don't know. same as the 3M paint protectors with different name.

I have the 3M on our 06, it works. But there are couple spot that were scratched, still better than nothing.
