Check Engine Light
I have a miss and sometimes my 05 Avalon almost dies when driving. It has 145K miles and has a code of:
"P0353 Ignition Coil C Primary/secondary circuts". Non of the cylinders show a misfire. I cleaned the MAP Sensor, checked the connections at the PCM, no difference. Toyota installed new plugs at 100K, hope they did the rear ones.
I don't know what "Ignition Coil C" is since this engine is a coil on plug.
Does anyone know what this is?
The tech said it could be the fuel pump, what do you think? Where do I hook up the gage to check the fuel pressure?
I had another scan and the only code this time was P0353 even with the car running, in drive, and the engine started missing but no miss fire codes on any cylinders.
The tech said it may be the plugs (45k miles on them) or a weak (going bad) fuel pump.
I can't find a place to hook up a fuel pressure gage. Any one know where to hook one up?
In the morning I am going to pull the intake and all the plugs.
Any other suggestions?
