Rear View Mirror Stem Diameter 2011

I am taking delivery of a 2011 Limited in a week or two and want to order a radar detector mirror mount that attaches to the stem of the rear view mirror. The mounts come in different sizes based on the diameter of the mirror stem which the mount incircles. I want to order the mount now but need to know the size of the stem. If you do not have a set of calipers, you can use a crescent wrench and then measure the gap with a ruler. Thanks!

Is the mount you are looking at called a BlendMount? If so, I emailed them the type of vehicle and someone went and confirmed the diameter to ensure it would fit. Money back guarantee if it doesnt IIRC. I use my BlendMount for my ScanGauge and I am very happy with it.

I am getting the other brand countryjoycrafts and they insist that you provide the size. I am concerned that the BlendMount, with all that mounting hardware on the top front over the unit, will interfere with the GPS function.

The stem is just under 7/8 ", 0.86" to be exact. It has a plastic wire guard snaped to it which would have to be removed to secure the mount.

I picked up the car 2 days after your post and did not see it. I measured the stem with calipers and it's about .91 inches or a smigen over 23mm on the 2011 Avalon. The cable holder snaps off easy. Thanks.
