3rd Generation Seafoaming an Avalon

Would sea foaming an 07 Avalon while doing the 50k service be a good idea?

I can't help but wonder if Seafoaming an '07 is a solution looking for a problem.

What are you hoping to gain?

so many seafoam pro/con and I am not sold on that.
Folks seems to like the seafoam idea when their cars are old, having problem. They think the white smoke effect is a good way to clean engine?
I think regular oil chanage, follow routine maintance is key. In fact, I just don't think seafoam the car one time would make any different.

I seafoamed my brothers 99 crown vic with 200k miles on it after I replaced the cracked intake manifold. It was black with carbon. It idled better and got better mileage after doing it. EGR was totally clogged with carbon, good build up in the heads, and throttle plate.

3rd Generation

I have done it on the 99 at 117k and not that much smoke came out. I'm guessing the engine was clean. There has not been any problems since, and I just passed over 130k. I did my brother's 05 xterra at 10k and my mom's 04 at 90k no problems either. Just was wondering what are the benefits/consequences of sea-foaming at 50k, would it shorten the life of the spark plugs???
Thanks
