iPod Help....

Just purchased a 06 XLS w/ 60k.....I'm lookin for a good priced iPod interface...I hate fm transmitters...lately I been burning CDs....Which interface or hook up do u guys use or suggest....It MUST be control by steering controls and I want the song and info to be on the nav screen

The display of song info is limited at best. You'll only get about 10 characters of the song title no matter what interface you use. I have the "USA Spec" ipod adapter from crutchfield. Despite the short comings of the nav display, the sound quality is quite excellent.

well i have the fasctory ipod interface.It works well shows info etc.BUT once you have a large ipod with alot of music your searching becomes limited its hard to browse around..Im gonna sell my interface once i get my indash tv.i have a 160 gb ipod.

yea i got a 32g 3rd gen ipod touch...i was wondering will u still be able to control the ipods music as far as album change from the ipod itself...how much would u be selling that interface for?? and did u install it urself or a shop??.....got picss of ur set up?? got a good website to get it at?? thanx in advance..ur car sitting crazy my man

Yes u can browse to the albums but once u select the album thats it no searching inside the album folder.i bought it for i think 199 when i got the car.i had it installed with my alarm and system.BUT it just plugs into the back of the radio.

iight thanx everybody....also one more question as i been reading up on the USA Spec...i think it says something about disconnecting the cd changer??? so the cd player will not work at all??? overall tho think i might end up wit the toyota factory one...

I have ONE OF THIS and you will probably end up with the same thing if you'll buy from USA Spec. The CD changer works just fine.
