Check Engine / VSC

Wife's '09 Avalon with 15K displayed these two lights the other day. Went to dealer and was told it needed a Oxygen sensor and they did not have one. Ordered the part nad we returned to have it installed yesterday. No problem on the way home. She drove to the grocery today and the lights are back on. Dealer says it's OK to drive till I get it back in there on Monday. Anyone have any ideas? Don't think the dealer has a clue!
Thks,
Russ

Quoted from TSB:
Some vehicles may exhibit a MIL “ON” Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0138 and/or P0158 (Oxygen
Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 or 2). In some instances a P2195 or P2197 (A/F Sensor
Signal Stuck Lean) DTC may also be present. This condition may be caused by incorrect Air Fuel
Ratio Sensor response. Additionally, a P0606 (ECM/PCM Processor) DTC may be present due to
incorrect Oxygen Sensor operation. The following repair procedures should be used to properly
diagnose and repair this condition

This sounds like it could get complicated so bear with the dealer on this one. If you think it's easy being a technician with the emissions they have today, then you have another thing coming!

On my 2007 Avalon, the VSC and Check Engine light went on two days ago. Took it to the dealer and found out it was one of the ignition coils. $200 for one coil. I would have changed it myself but finding the one that is out wouldn't be very easy with the way cars are built these days.

Turns out it was one of the front coils, the back ones are more tucked away.
