I have a silver 2006 Avalon Touring.
Thanks for the information, however the problem is not the torsion bars themselves. The problem is the torsion bar
clamps. The clamps or
support brackets (as described in your drawing) are what the torsion bars connect to, and those clamps are damaged, the one on the drivers side is just bent, the one on the passenger side is broken.
Thanks for posting the info - if I do something crazy like cut off the support bracket on the passenger side and weld in a replacement, I will use these instructions to put back in the torsion bars.
