Customize My '08

Hey guys,

Sorry if this post has been posted already but I have an '08 Touring (picture below) and purchased an extended warranty until 2015 or 100k whichever come first (currently at 54k). My question is, can I still customize it performance wise without voiding my warranty?

The things that I want to buy/get: Air Filter, Air Intake System, Suspension System, Fuel System, Ignition System and Exhaust/Muffler.

If not, could you please tell me which brand is best but yet reasonably affordable for the mentioned items.

The Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act allows for the use of aftermarket products without fear of voiding a manufacturer's warranty. You can add performance products. Two things to keep in mind:
- you can't expect to receive warranty coverage for something that you've modified (i.e., air intake system replacement, etc.)
- if a modification has caused a factory part to fail, and the dealership can prove your modification was at fault, the dealership can deny warranty coverage of THAT claim.

Besides, if an aftermarket part ever broke an oem part, just put the oem part back on and the dealer is none-the-wiser.
