I don't know about aftermarket, but I know the OEM struts and springs off the touring model which are sportier, will bolt up to any model avalon.

What Boosted ^ said is correct. But one thing to consider is the price versus the difference (improved?) in ride. I've rented Touring editions several times and, while there is a difference, wondered about swapping out the springs and struts on mine with that from a Touring. In all honesty - there's not that much difference to warrant the cost of the swap, for me anyway.

I'm fairly happy with my cushy ride. I've learned that the soft ride can still take on the twisty roads nicely - ya just gotta get used to the feel of the Avy sliding due to understeer, you'll get used to it!

I own a 2006 Touring and it is pretty soft. I'm looking for lowering springs and stiffer struts myself. The 2007+ Camry V6 springs have been said to work on the Avalons... I'm doing research at the moment. Eibach springs for Camry V6 to be exact. Check!

I doubt there is much in the way of aftermarket. The average age segment buying this car is not modifying it. They are driving it to home town buffet and bingo. I myself am an exception along with a few others in the "I know how to change my own oil, and I'm not an AARP member" category.

The other avalon in my neighborhood is owned by a retired guy. I personally hate the cars out now that are targeted to the "younger" generation. I am a Gen X'er but I think I have baby boomer tastes. Avalon is right up my alley in both form and function.

I just have electronic mods mainly. I haven't and don't plan to do anything so the ride. Having just come off a Hyundai Azera with an absolutely terrible ride, this Avalon is practically a sports car compared to it.

VOGTLAND sport spring sets made in Germany give your car improved dynamic handling, better cornering and a dynamic appearance. This means better appearance with maximum driving comfort in normal operation and sporty, progressive tuning at the operating limits. The special driving dynamics are achieved by the innovative spring design.

Lowering from 30, 40 or even 60 mm is possible. You can choose between this range of different sport spring sets. The lower center of gravity provides greater handling and increases driving fun.

The reduction of the spring travel demands a specific spring characteristic, derived from Motorsports. The VOGTLAND-Compound-Spring consist of two different spring rates: a starting and an end rate. These are specially calibrated for every car model balanced and interacting characteristics stand for a well-balanced driving comfort and more sportive dynamics.

I changed out my springs on my 06 limited with the touring springs and also ordered the kyb struts. My car was made before Jan. 06 so my struts are actually the same as the 04-06 camrys. The 06's made after that use the same struts as the 07+ camrys.
