OEM Mirror

Does anyone know the OEM mirror part number or where I can get one?

When I got my car it had an aftermarket mirror and backup camera in it. The camera doesn't work anymore, the connecter was all rusted due to weather exposure at the rear bumper. I cut out the bad connector and re-soldered the connections and it works, but its obviously fuzzy since the cable is now improperly shielded.

I have the limited model, and with the original mirror the outside mirrors are supposed to dim, I obviously lost that functionality when the previous owner put in this aftermarket clown show of a mirror/camera. The interior mirror doesn't dim either, since it had the camera screen in it.

My plan is to just get a navtool interface and use the nav screen for a backup cam image, and get the oem mirror back to get my homelink buttons, and rear view and outside mirror electrochromatic dimming back.

I just had the passenger side mirror replaced on my limited at a body shop. There are no part numbers on the invoice, but the mirror was $530. I am sure it could be had cheaper elsewhere.

I could not find a part #, but the mrrors are listed on Toyota-Parts.com (parts dept of a dealer in Texas), under the "windshield" subgroup.

Inside Mirror with auto-dimming; List: $717 Mail order: $537.76
Inside mirror w/o auto-dimming; List: $88.34 Mail order: $66.26
Apply to Avalon model years 06-10.

I think I would be inclined to forget about the auto-dimming feature and compass, and be satisfied with "plain".

I think there is a compass, home link on the mirror as well. But for that $500+? I may just go with the one without those feature unless you use them often.
