DRL out?

One of my daytime running lights is out. Is this hard to replace? Any simple instructions on how to do this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

It is really easy, go to autozone or a car shop buy some high beams, pop the hood, then you should see a large black plastic cover that goes across the front end opened hood, take that off (few black plastic screws but those pop off easily with your car keys), there should be a round twist-able lock thing, take that off, then pull your high beams out and insert new ones and put everything back, helps if you have girl hands as guy's arms get cut and scraped doing this lol. (But don't force your gf/daughter/wife to do this!!!)

It's really easy, I bought high beams with no knowledge of changing them, just popped the hood and figured it out, I dropped one of the plastic screws inside the hood though lol..

05 to current Avalons run high beams at low power for their DRL I think, turn your fog lights on, they should come from DRL also.

Yea, the DRL just uses the high beam at low voltage, which is why all the people who ask about swapping HID into the high beam slot can't do it.

Simple job got complicated. I did as instructed. Easy unitl I got to bulb. It has broken off where it attaches to the metal holder. How do I get it out? I looked at the other side, which works fine, to see how the unbroken bulb looks and can be removed. I can't get it out by just pulling on it. I am afraid if I pull harder that I will break it too. Is there a mechanism holding the bulb in there that I am missing. What is the correct bulb number? Maybe I can get a new bulb at the parts store and tell from it how to get the old ones out. Are these bulbs available at most part stores?
Thanks for your help.

High beams are available at any and all auto part stores, after taking off the round lock cap, you should see wires connecting to your high beams, first twist your high beam counter clockwise and they should come out, then remove the wires, it is attached similar to how you would plug in a phone line, so you'll need a little finger work to get it off! Attach the new ones in and you are good to go!!

No idea if the above are high beams, but ask the store, they can tell you whether those are high beams or not.

Thanks. Got that done. The problem I am having is finding the corrrect replacement bulb. Part stores seemed to be stumped too. O'Reilly ordered a replacement today that will be here Tuesday. We will see if it works.
