What do you mean "upgrade"? New maps? Replace it with something that isn't a pos?

There are new map updates available from the dealer, and probably ebay.

POS = piece of sh!t. Compared to many aftermarket systems, the oem nav is a pain to use and work with.

If you've ever used the override to use the system while driving, the new discs eliminate it.

Okay so now I know what POS means. So what's the best solution to upgrading my 06 limited ? Is there something out there that's better then OEM, that can be used in my car or is that all there is ( she does have a sexy voice)

Well if you don't ever use the override, just get a new map disk from the dealer. Its about $200.

Then again a very nice aftermarket Garmin Nuvi is also 200 and you get a lot more features, and can use it while driving.

You could also go buy a 10 year old Garmin , if they made them then. I will beat that POS in the Avalons

To answer your question - you can get an updated DVD from Toyota or on eBay. I think you'll find that everyone agrees the price charged by Toyota (in excess of $200) is exorbitant. Just like the majority agree that that money would be better spent on getting an aftermarket Nav unit.
