I just bought a 08 Avalon XLS with 41k miles on it today, and I love it. For my 3 hour a day commute it seemed to fit the niche of luxury, mpg, and ride comfort I've been looking for.
Here are two quick shots at the dealer with my Droid X. Sorry, no interior. It is however tan with no nav. Of course I need tint (Alabama is 32%), and I like the look of the LED map/door lights. Maybe taillight tint if I'm feelin' froggy.
Congrats. Great looking car. I actually bought an 08 today as well. Do you have part numbers or specs for interior and exterior LEDs? I'd like to do that.
Thanks man. I dug about eight to ten pages in and found a thread that had a few install pictures and listed 12, T10 5LED bulbs. That covers front and back map lights, door lights, trunk, tag, and dome. I'm just going to try and go from there.

Agreed with everyone, but for the least thing you can do to it, get that silly dealer logo of the back end.

Funny you should say that, 'cause I do it, too. We tried to buy local but they were jerks (it's a spinoff of a Las Vegas dealer), so we drove 100 miles and have ended up buying three cars there in two years....I LOVE driving to the local dealer for parts and watching the salesmen's eyes crunch when they see where we bought One guy even had the guts to walk up and ask me why I didn't buy from them (he recognized me from town) and when I told him how much I saved, he shook his head and told me "we would've done you better than that". I laughed and said: "You always say that after you try to screw me and I leave without buying." He didn't know what to say and walked away.
And, on top of it, I've turned several friends on to the Fleet Mgr where we bought and they've also gotten great deals there from him, too. I certainly don't begrudge a dealership a fair profit; however, don't screw me, either. It has to burn these locals guys when they see all the dealer stickers from that dealer 100 miles away. They just don't get it....and it does feel good to rub it in just a little!

I paid cash up front and my local dealer had a silver on gray fully loaded 08 with a lil higher miles, then the one i own but tried to see if they would get closer to the other deal i got..The sales man told me they would not budge and that i would have to go buy that other deal then..I stood up and walked out.and vowed never to even get air in my tires from this dealer.Shit didn't even get my recall work done there drove to another dealer...
