headlight intermittant

2008 Avalon Limited. Love it!!

Passenger headlight will just go out sometimes. Might stay on for 5 minutes then quit. Or maybe 1 minute than quit. Now happening with the driver side as well. Is this the bulb? I can turn the lights off manually and when I turn on, they work. But will not be long before 1 or both go out. Normally when I see a bulb quit, it is done for good. So wondering if there is something else in play.

Thank you!!

I would suspect the wiring connections. Try tracing the wiring and the fuses to make sure the connectors are snug.

I'd be thinking relays - haven't looked yet, but is there a relay box under the hood? A lot of manufacturers put them on the driver's side of the engin compartment. If you find them, swap them around - making sure they are the same. Relays are not specific to any certain component and are often times interchangable - look at the numbers.
