Mine has the toyota VIP alarm system light in the empty spot from your picture. The knock out plate next to it is the button for the rear shade. Again, this is what is in mine. I can not guarantee other cars, just mine.

I believe that's what it's for. Left blank is definitely the button for the rear sun shade (if equipped). And I have noticed that Avalon's that do have the VIP alarm have the light in the right blank.

I know this is asking a lot but would one of y'all mind pulling that piece of the dash off it is only held on with 2 screws. and then you just pull right under the steering wheel and it pops off and then see if thats the same connection that you have on yours thats in my pic's? if this is asking to much I understand but thanks for the help!

don't need to do that, they are all correct, it's for VIP remote starter or VIP sensor alarm.
All the responses are correct. That's the plug-in for the factory VIP alarm. There should be no wiring harness differences between a car with the alarm and a car without.
Mine doesn't have the light. If you're trying to install the OEM alarm system - you might want to investigate it a bit more because I think there's much more to it than just that module.
