Check It Out...Didnt Put It On Yet Gotta Get Tires....Im Gonna Run a 245/40/20.....Any Tips/Suggestions??
Might wanna rethink that tire size..IF you put weigt in the back you might have rubing under basic driving..Most have issues with anything wider then a 235 series. And some still have issues i found the only way to for sure not rub at all is to go with the 225 35 20 i run a 225 45 19 on my 19s right now and the 225 35 20 on my 20s.NO RUB NO MATTER WHAT.
Some people say they dont care if it rubs..F that.I dont wanna have to worry about how im driving or who i have with me or who i cant put in the back cause of the rubbing thats embarrassing. My car drives as it did from the start with 20s and 19s.Nice rims tough rethink that tire..You "might" get away with it depending on the offset.Search online there are tons of tire rub issues with 20s on these Avalons.I MADE SURE that was not the case for me i load up 3 kids and luggage with my subs in the back never rubbed with my 20s.NEVER

Hey hghflyrjd1, Im also thinking about new tire/rims, can't decide between 19s or 20s, but my question to you is, how did your 20s affect road noise? Good or Bad? Also, what tire brand would you suggest to keep tire noise low.

I cant make any suggestions on tire brands im no tire pro,BUT i can say that i did not notice a crazy amount of noise with the 20s handled tighter etc but noting to strange.make sure you get the right size tire.Im sure others can help you with a tire brand..When it comes to a tire for the 20s SIZE DOES MATTER HERE.

Ive been to NY maine and ever where in between. No dents yet.BUT No matter what you need to watch the holes even with that 40 series. For me rubbing means its an incorrect fit.My rim shops here said 225 35

No issues with the CORRECT tires size.like i said they never rubbed.I leave em on when i go to the dealer.Thats a lot of work just for a visit.
Reason Why I Ask That Is Because I Heard That The 20s Are Too Heavy For The Car And It Might Mess Up The Transmission And If The Dealer Sees That...There Goes Your Powertrain Warranty.....This Is Just What I've Heard....Fill Me In On The Facts

I never noticed it act different shift different or seen anywhere where it says anything like that about the warranty and custom wheels.
