I have a USA spec iPod adapter that I use for what appears to be that exact unit in my 06. I am able to maintain steering wheel control for my iPod, however, I do not get track info text on the multidisplay.

A good place to start would be to goto crutchfield and use the car configurator and see what options they have for your specific model. If its listed, generally it's supported.

The external CD changer controls are on the right side of the steering wheel as part of the Audio Remote Controls.

what if i were to buy the upgraded 6 cd changer version or jbl. And installed the external hook up for an aux input would that be an easier option? i am just trying to get an aux input for a factory radio but would the jbl radio mess up my speakers now (9 spk sys)?

i went to crutch field and on the pages i was looking at it said that you need a sat button on your radio in order to use the ones that they have available.
