If you have to remove the whole assembly, you have to remove the cover (belly pan) right behind the lower edge of the bumper. Once you have that removed, you should be able to reach up to the back of the light assembly and feel 2 screws, one on each side of the assembly. Remove them and the assembly should just pull out.
If you are someone with LONG and SKINNY arms, you might be able to slide your arm through the vents in the bumper and reach the screws. I could reach the one closest to the center of the car, but not the outside one!
I just had my right one out and it looks like they both use the same housing because there's 2 tabs on each side of the assembly, but you only use two of them. I'm assuming the other two fit the other side?
