Bolt on Daul Exhaust for Avalon now hear!

This guy I have been speaking to says this will fit our Avalon. Here is the link.

I have a feeling it might be close but I dont think it will fit. Does anyone know if the camery and avalon have the same rear exhaust?

From the photo - they look nice and resemble orig. which I like.

Curious about back pressure changes and what that would do to all of the feedback going on up at the front.

Looks good, but I only like exhausts on 8 cylinders or greater.

I agree. I think this is much better than having a huge can out the back though. Especially with our Avalons! That was another Wow factor was how quiet it was. Even if I did get a set, I still probably wouldn't hear them. There is so much sound dampening material in our cars that we would have to have the windows down to hear it. Still cool though! Great find!

They do sound nice, but at $300+ plus for just two pipes that replace the oem muffler I think is expensive IMO I would pay more that $200 shipped. Now if it was a complete exhaust from the OEM headers back then I can see paying $300+, and then would see real HP gains.

His response

"I am sorry I will have to decline $175 with free shipping.
Shipping alone is between 40-60 depending on location in the states.
Exhaust piping, flanges, bolts, nuts, gaskets, tips and labor is 260.
Ebay fees are 20% of item cost.

Anyone can go to a local muffler shop and get them to cut off their mufflers and weld on pipes.
But this exhaust allows you to keep your existing mufflers so later you can always just bolt back on your factory mufflers.
It's a full custom bolt-on upgrade. So your vehcile can be put back to stock in 15 min without any extra costs.

If you went to an exhaust shop to cut and weld pipes you would pay a fee. Then when you wanted your stock exhaust back on, you would pay another fee. With this exhaust you are preventing this reoccurring fee of exhaust on and off.

The tone of your exhaust can easily be changed in 15min and then back to stock in the same time without any additional fees.

The best I can do is 299 shipped in USA

- distantxtremes_llc"

I'll pass as this isnt what I am looking for and its way to expensive for just 2 pipes.

I asked this guy about a full headers to rear sytem and this is what he said.

"Headers would require extensive testing and research. To start such research along with making prototypes and testing those we are looking at 8k-10k to start. Honestly there isn't a demand for such a deal and custom headers would cost about 1k for each set. These are all rough estimates that were given to me by our research dept."

Don't see this happening in our near future
