What kind of mat do you guys use? Anyone with WeatherTech?

I have been using the OEM carpet mat for a while and didn't like it much. They do give you a nice soft feel when step on but it doesn't work well on rain, snow...

Tried the Costco $20 rubber mat, kind of small but like how it works during winter. I want to get WeatherTech floor mat but boy they are expensive. A set will cost $180+shipping.

Any one use WeatherTech mat? If so, any feedback? They have 2 version, one regular (cheaper) and one liner, most expensive. I also heard about the name Husky but don't know much about it.

So what do you guys use?

I'm using the Toyota rubber mats. But now that the weather is getting better I'll pull them out an reinstall the factory carpeted mats (that's a sure way to make it rain like hell!).

Wink Weather-Tech mat

I have a Weather-Tech mat on the rear deck. Nice fit and protects carpet. Takes lots of abuse.

i've had the oem carpet mats, costco rubber mats, kragen mats, and finally using the weathertech right now.

hands down weathertech. took a bite out of my account (and it took me a lot of convincing myself to justify spending almost 2 bills on floor mats) but they're good quality!

YES, those "paper" mat. I too keep those until they fall apart after each dealer visit.

I just ordered a front set WeatherTech floor liner for our 2007 Highlander. Since the HL is grey so I ordered a Black set. Will see how it goes before getting one for the Avalon.
Our Avalon has tan/ivoy interior but not sure the tan from weathertech will match. I will see how the black match up with the HL and will do some color test. More update once I get the mat

I want to get Weathertechs for my 99, but my carpet is still clean.

My dad has coffee stains in the 07, which I had to get out when the 99 was handed down to me. I think HE needs the Weathertechs.

Toyota used to have a heavy duty, black rubber mats (front and rear) for the Avalon at $125. I don't know if they still sell them but they look good and are the same fit as the original carpet mats.

I have the Black DIGITAL fit weather tech front and one piece rear floor liners.BEST investment.I remove to brush out and clear sometimes and then vacuum the lil bit of debris that gets under, but the carpets look brand new still underneath..These stop spills, wet feet, snow, slush, dirt from getting on the carpets.

I believe after the floor mat recall, Toyota not selling their weather mat. I used to have a Toyota weather mat (with deep channel to catch water) on our 04 Sienna. They stop selling that version of mat.

Toyota do carry a newer version of 'rubber' mat for newer model which really just a flat rubber, can't collect water and they are cheap (you can do a search on ebay to see how it looks like)

The mat for our Highlander should be here this week, I will post picture and report back.
