TRAC button and wiring diagram

Is it true that the 2011 Avalon now has a button for turning off the TRAC control? Can anyone supply me with the 2011 wiring diagram for the TRAC/VSC system? I'd like to compare that to my 2008 wiring and perhaps come up with a TRAC button mod for our older cars so we can disable the system at will without doing the "dance" which is only temporary. Great site!!

It would be great to have a TRAC button.

Yeh, it's stupid to not put one in these cars. When looking at our wiring, I can see a couple of possibilities for where a switch might work but I really would like to see how Toyota did it in the 2011 if it's true it has the button.

I have an '11 Ltd. & the Trac button is to the left of the steering wheel, next to the buttons for opening the trunk & gas cap. A light comes on saying "Trac Off" when it's pressed.

This info is not good enough though. roysleight was looking for the wiring diagram for the TRAC/VSC system and not the location of that botton.

Thanks rmike, if anyone has access to a wiring schematic of that, I could probably come up with a mod for us. I'm thinking about inquiring at the dealer here, but not tell them what I have in mind.

I have the diagram for 07. We probably need to see a 2011 diagram to see what sort of black magic Toyota has going on to kill vsc.

Yeah, I've got the wiring for my '08 but need to see how the button on the '11 is connected to the circuit.
