Single chime at engine turn off

My 2007 Avalon limited, sitting at almost 60k miles, has started giving me one single chime when I shut off the engine. All doors closed, and no other indications of any problem at any point during operation of the vehicle.

Any ideas?

assumed while you are still inside the car with your smartkey with you? would that be low battery signal for the smartkey?
Is it consistent?

Yep, inside car, with the smartkey, even with the seatbelt still on. it's very consistent. I've not noticed any issues with the range of the key but I can change the battery just to see.

It's the key fob battery getting low.
