So far I am not impress with some so call new designs from Toyota. The new Corolla and up coming Camry...Come on, unless you are hardcore camry/corolla fans, you really can't tell the different. More like a facelift vs the really NEW design.
Even Korean automarker has stepped up and able to come up with something nice, better looking. With 10 year 100K miles power tran warranty, I would see myself owning a Korean brand one of this day.

Ya. Toyota released another teaser image of the tailight. It honestly looks like the top half of the current gen camry and the side of the previous gen camry
What the post is meant is that there is going to be a next gen avalon and it is supposedly going to be styled
similarly to the A7 and other european cars.
Cosmetic changes..I read they'll keep same engine and go to 6 speed A/T (if they haven't already on the latest generation. I don't like the fact there are no door trims/body side moulding. Doors like like a big piece of sheet. metal. I installed some from an online place, same color and appearance as the factory ones they offer now. Sure makes difference in appearance. I still don't buy first model year of the next generation. I learned that with my '05 Avalon.....never again!
I will reserve my judgements till we see what it looks like from the outside and inside.
Im sorry that im not a Toyota dealership owner and have insights into the next gen avalon. The point of this thread was to inform other avalon fans that the next gen avalon will have styling cues from the Audi A7 and similar euro cars.
