'08 gps setting help

we disconnected the battery to clean off the horrible corrosion on it and add anti-corrosion washers. what that resulted in was a lost of settings in our personal mirror/seat settings -- and lost gps prefs.

we had set our gps to some 'test' mode that showed not only the next step but the next 3 steps w/ the map to the left. now we stumbled upon this setting - that we loved - by accident (or depending how you look at it - but fault of the terrible voice rec in the gps that NEVER EVER gets what we speak even close (go home.... gives 'showing mexican restaurants' -- ????)

since we didn't actually turn the setting on - we don't even know what its called. but since we liked it we would like to turn that feature on again.

any ideas?

Press Menu Go To Map Appearance....and u r looking for turn list......BOOM!
