Once again on Brakes And Rotors

Here is my story, may be of interest.
I live in Kazakhstan and recently bought Avalon06 in New York. The car is beautiful! But first impressions are spoiled problems when I pressed the brake at high speed. When braking, the steering wheel began to vibrate, and under strong pressure on the brakes felt blows. The reason was the presence of curvature of the front rotors. In our country we use two methods of correcting these problems. 1 - Correction of the curvature on a special lathe, by grooving discs. 2 - Replacing the rotors.
I started with the first paragraph, the cost of the procedure for the two discs $ 40. Within 2 weeks all was well! There was no shaking, vibration steering was not. But after 2 weeks I noticed a slight pulse steering when braking. Then, after a hard braking at high speed all the symptoms came back - a strong beat in the steering wheel and brake. Repeated procedure was worth $ 20 because only one disk is twisted. The cause could not figure out. But after 5 days of vibration steering again resumed.
I had to change the rotors. I bought two of the rotor (part N 43512-08040) - $ 80 for one. The procedure is very simple and I did it yourself. Began replacing the side where it was shaking. Carefully examined the old drive and noticed a crack in a rotor, which was across the ventilation ducts. That's the whole reason! The second disc, I did not replace it. I also noticed that all the vents almost completely clogged with rust. I think for this reason that cools the rotor is not uniform and this leads to its deformation.
That's the story. We need to decide how to deal with rust.
Maybe someone would be helpful.

Rust is something you cannot get away with from rotors because of its steel properties. There are brands out there who coat their rotors to help prevent the rust. I suggest getting high quality rotors that's backed up with a warranty and use OEM pads and shims.

Suggest you replace the other rotor also.
When the rotors become very thin, they curve (warp) much faster/easier with less tolerance for heat, than when they are new & thick.
Since you already have the #2 rotor, use it now, and be happy for many thousand miles.

If you need extra stopping power, get new brake pads
- German performance pads, same brand/formula as used on 3 series BMW,
they create tremendous amount of brake dust, but they stop the car, fast!
