Unhappy Radiator leak 2006 Avalon

Bought this car used about a year ago. Noticed some pink fluid on ground and car would intermitently overheat. Took it to the local dealer and said radiator is leaking and needs to be replaced. Car only has about 60,000 miles on it. Seems mightly early for something like this to happen. Anyone have similar radiator issues?

Mine has double your mileage and is holding up fine.

You did buy used - no telling what happened B4 you obtained the car?

I would say this.....if the radiator is leaking - I would not hesitate to repair/replace it.

If it springs a big leak unexpectedly - you could end up with a blown cylinder head gasket and on a modern vehicle - that can be bye-bye for the motor.

Mine has over double the mileage of yours also and is still like factory great... I also bought used was yours wrecked at one point? Is it leaking right from a radiator? Or just a hose, if it’s a hose it probably won’t be too big a deal to fix.

The car was never in an accident. Got carfax before purchasing. I've owned it for about a year.Took it to the local dealer who said the radiator was leaking. Went ahead and bit the bullet and had it replaced. They actaully recomended aftermarket, which was cheaper and better according to them and had a lifetime warranty. He said the Toyota radiator only had a 1 yr warranty.
