I just completed our 1st trip in our new 2011 Avalon. Love it so far. It has the JBL premium audio and memory seats, blizzard pearl with black interior. MSRP was$35,796 and I got it for $29,500. I could not turn it down for that price. Mostly highway miles I got 31.4 mpg. I could not believe it. I got it for longer trips to keep miles off the 4runner and for better gas mileage. Hopefully it will be as reliable as my 4runner has been.

We drive the same car w/nav though! Love the limited black interior. Pretty much the reason I keep this one.
Coming up on 10k miles without issue so far.......

It is not a limited but is does have a black interior. The reason I got it so cheap is because it set on the lot about ayear and they weanted to move it.

Any idea why it sat on the lot for a year. That seems strange doesn't it?

I think it was because this is a small dealer in a lower income town. Most people here would be more interested in Corrolas or Camrys not that I am rich. I never see any Avalons around here. Also being in the middle of the desert some poeple do not like black interiors but I love them. The battery was dead when I went to look at the car so I had them put a new one in as part of the deal. The car had 120 miles on it when I bought it.

Hmm. Makes sense...you must have NAV if you have JBL, so yeah invoice on that car is like 32 you stole it!!

Some cars just slip through the cracks. I actually have a couple 2010 models left on the lot. A base Avalon with nav is considered a "weird" car, since most base's dont have it. I think a lot of people at that point just pay the extra little bit to get a limited. Obviously in this case he got a deal for way less than a limited so it makes sense for him.
One time we were stuck with a Prius five with no AT package when someone messed up the allocations. 3k more than a Four all for LED headlights and alloy wheels. Sat for over a year
Same goes for Camry XLE's or Rav-4 Ltd's with CLOTH interior. Who's gonna buy that???

It does not have navigation. Base price was $32,245, Premium JBL audio $900, memory seat and mirror package $1020, special color $220, carpet floormats/ trunk mats $199, wheel locks $67, paint protection film $395, delivery processing and handling fee $750, total $35,796. The dealer also had the windows tinted that added another $260.

That's a really rare car! Never seen a base with the memory package here. You have the back up camera in the mirror right? Much better camera with the lines. The "plain" one on navigation screen doesnt have them.
Must look good with the tinted windows, I wish I could get mine done.
