Odd ? 2006 avy limited

My 2006 Avalon limited has Nav (for what it's worth). Mine has a key not push button start. I know it's first year of life it was a car service car so was this an option or could they have removed it?

You probably have an XLS with Nav and someone put a limited badge on it. Do you have cooled seats up front? If you only have heated, its not a limited.

That's what I thought but insurance said vin code came up as a limited. I didn't think they could tell that in a vin. Seats are cool only.
Thanks for the info.

Odd, limited should have HID headlamps, push button start, heated and cooled seats, wood trimmed shifter and steering wheel, moonroof, rear sunshade, etc were all standard on the limited. Nav and Laser cruise were optional.

The XLS could only get heated seats I believe, and they were optional.

Edit... also the led turn signals in the mirrors were limited only and standard.

One other thing to tell you for sure, if you look at your door handles outside. Do all 4 have a little black button on them? They are for the keyless access. If they are there, its for sure a limited, if they aren't, there's no way it can be.

No it's not a limited. Some jack hole put badge on it. Sticker on window said 2006 toy Avalon limited. I ( stupidly didnt do research on it) but loved the car and just sold my 2007 tundra 5.7 do to gas. It's a big dealer in OC. CA. I will call and complain but I'm sure they will tell me to pound sand. I would not have paid what I dis if I new it was not a limited. Paid 17500 for it with 66000 miles and a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper on it. Don't get me wrong I love the car and i love the new tires and 20" it came on but I still feel screwed!

Pulling the badge this weekend. Don't want to look like I'm claiming something. I used to pick on a guy at work for putting 5.7 badges on his tundra. Still love the car!!

Never said it was important to me just got curious because I kept seeing push button start so wanted to know if I was driving around trying to be cool with the limited badge on it. The seats are not heated or cool I miss understood the ? As rear heat and cold. The vents that blow into the back. My big concern was did I pay way to much thinking it was a big dif. Already debadged her and still love the car.

You didn't pay way too much, is the 100k warranty just because it's certified or you bought it seperate?

An 06 XLS with 66k would go for around 16/16.5 here.....certified would go a bit more.

Honestly, the sales person is either an idiot or a snake though. I would not have sold that car with a Limited badge on it w/o informing you that in fact it's an XLS. Did you call him and give him an earfull?

Limited or not, it will be a fine car. I paid 19.9k for an 07 limited with nav and laser cruise with 58k in Nov of 2009.

In terms of brighest, it is whiter. It is also auto level so it always provide proper aim.
However, if something fails it will cost a bit to fix. Even the bulb itself is a $100-$150 item (you may get it cheaper somewhere) vs $10 regular bulb? For the ballast, dealer will tell you to get the whole assembly which is probably 4 figure part+labor.

We have/had 2 Limited and I like the HID, just hope they won't fail on me
