2011 Avalon compass problem

My compass on my 2011 Avalon in the mirror had worked fine for the first 2000 miles I have owned this car. Today it only reads NE no matter what direction I am headed. I tried reseting it with no help. I am going to try the driving in a circle calibration tommorrow even though it does not say it needs calibration. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just turned over 2,000 miles on my 2011 Avalon and haven't had this problem. Do you live close to the dealer? Let them worry about it . . .

i did the calibration this morning and it fixed it for about 1 mile then it was stuck on one setting again. I recalibrated it again and it is working at this time. I will probably not be using the car for several days so I do not know if it will continue working or not. If it messes up again I will take it back to the dealer.

I had the same issue once or twice but I recalibrated it & now it's OK. Seemed to occur simultaneously with my turning the compass off, using the switch on the mirror.
