Oil Pan Sub Assembly: 15 ft/lbs except for the two at the rear of the pan right next to each other, those should be 7 ft/
Oil Pan Itself: 7ft/lbs

Where did you get you information? I ask because it seem like, at least me to be rather high values.

Usually a faster with the specs I quoted would be 5 or maybe 6 ft. lbs if it were a grade 8.8 bolt.

The value you gave would work out to about 180 in lbs. just seem to high.

If value is 5 or 6 ft lbs then inch pound value would be around 72 inch pounds which seem about right.

I just want to know for sure.

Whoops, if you look at your diagram, I was looking at the "sub assembly" hence the 7 and 15 figures. The FSM I have has only one diagram for the sub assembly only in the "oil pan" section. They dont even show sub assembly no.2 aka the actual oil pan. Crappy book I guess.

Why did you have to remove the oil pan?

Thanks to all.

7 ft. lbs is about 84 Inch pounds and that sounds right for bolt this size.

Pan is being replaced because I hit road debris that dented it badly.
