Plans for After Winter

Hello everyone... i know i am going to get a lot of you should have got a different car because i have already got that before when it comes to mod's... but i would really like to throw on some 19 or 20 inch rims and lower my car. Do you guys think it would look better with some black 19" rims lowered or some 20" black rims lowered... i have a blizzard pearl 2006 toyota avalon limited... i already have the windows tinted 20% and first thing after winter i am blacking out all chrome, and blacking out the tail lights... i really only want my car to be black and white... What do you guys think? should i go like a wide 19 and lower it or go with 225/35/20 and lower it? also planning some subs in the trunk... and maybe an after market double DIN dvd/cd player, but since i already have the factory NAV i dont really want to lose it.. is there a way to have both?

I get the feeling that you are a young person. I am an old fart at 57 and my days of modifying vehicles is done except for my off road vehicles (Jeep Wrangler and 2003 4runner). I personally would not go bigger than 19" rims to prevent wheel damage and to get a slightly smoother ride. I think you will kill the resale value of your car with your mods but I guess that is not an issue as I did not care about that either in my younger days. Black wheels have never grown on me but I know the younger generation likes them. I wish I had all the money back I spent on mods to my muscle cars back in the day but I had a lot of fun. I have no idea about your dvd question. This is the first car I have had in 10 years and it is to low for me allready. I am used to lifted 4x4s and do not have to worry about curbs etc. I am used to just driving over them if need be. Making my Avalon lower would make it just about useless to me. Good luck in your adventures.
